This is some of the technical art that was made for the game Outpost: Glacier!
It includes:
Shaders for environment assets
Volumetric cloud system that interacts with the weather system
Wind direction affecting foliage, moss, clouds, environment particles and other VFX
Pipeline for creating moss stones from existing stones
Procedural world material supporting different biomes and snow deformation
Mining nodes have damaged stages using 1 channel mask
Stormy local wind VFX supporting multiplayer overlap
Volumetric flares
Foliage player collision interaction
Cheap transparent ice shader using SDF placed cracks
Vertex animation textures for simulated physics and animation
Blender geometry nodes procedural assets
Snow glitter shader based on non-occluded sun rays and random normal angle
Overhang biome with guaranteed slopes for the player to be able to always get up on every mountain
Day and night cycle
Volumetric aurora sky events
There is more but not enough time to show everything
About 2 years later I created the third prototype trailer showing a lot of new things like gameplay and the new procedural systems.
The work of the whole environment team together, I was part of lighting, clouds, snow, rocks and some foliage.
Ice shader
Day and night cycle with night sky cubemap
Storm wall VFX
PBR iridescence shader
The second prototype trailer I created.
